Description

Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1 shift per 2 weeks)
Start Date: ASAP

Unit: High Risk Labor & Delivery, OB Triage/Testing, Antepartum
Patient Volume: Average 7 daily deliveries, up to 14 with inductions and high-risk antepartum cases
Facility Type: Acute Hospital, Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center
Beds: 407 staffed beds
Charting System: Epic
Parking: Free
Scrub Color: Provided

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
AWHONN certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
