Description

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (1830 - 0700), 3 shifts per week (3x12)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide cardiopulmonary services as a Respiratory Therapist registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Follow approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients.
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas.
Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
Perform intubations and blood gas analysis.
Experience required in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED).
Minimal experience in NICU and Pediatrics sufficient to cover ED needs.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Neonate patients

Additional Information

Travel assignment.
Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts.
