**Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit Team!** **Job Description:** - Location: Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital - Total Facility Beds: 341 - Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Specialty: Acute Inpatient Care **Your Role:** - Float as part of a resource team, ensuring high-quality patient care across units. - Provide care for patients with complex needs, including: - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Cardiac diagnoses requiring closer monitoring - Post PTCA/stent care - Insulin drip therapy - ETOH withdrawal patients - And more! **Requirements:** - Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience. - Proficient in starting IVs and managing insulin/cardiac drips. - Epic experience required within the last 2 years. **Schedule:** - Monday to Sunday shifts available. - Weekends required (minimum of every other weekend). - No block schedules. **Work Environment:** - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3:1. - CNA/PCT support available. - Orientation: 1-2 days. **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Navy blue or white. - Shoes: Closed toe, nonskid. - Jewelry: Minimal; hair/beard should be groomed and professional. **Accommodations:** - Reliable transportation is required; public transport is not accessible. - Ensure vehicles are equipped for all-season driving from November to April. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
