EEG Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
- Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours (variable), primarily day shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Ambulatory clinic hours Mon-Fri 8 AM - 5 PM; 24-hour call coverage shared among team, 365 days/year
- On-Call Requirement: 1 weekend per month (on-call only, no weekend shifts)
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks; may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
- Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Locals: Not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
- First Timers: Accepted

- Acute hospital with 407 staffed beds
- Magnet facility, Level II Trauma center
- Uses Epic for charting

Required Qualifications
- EEG Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- EEG Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- REEGT (Registered EEG Technologist) certification
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- E-Verify attestation required
- Education verification required for all candidates
- State-specific background and registry checks as applicable
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS
- Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
- Must comply with facility float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)

- Prior travel experience is not required
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Candidates must be able to pass all background and credentialing requirements prior to start

- No block scheduling available
This position offers a reduced orientation period (0 hours Non-Billable Orientation vs. standard 40 hours), allowing for a quicker start.
