Registered Nurse (PACU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-Call: 10-12 days of call within a 6-week period
Floating: May be required if needed
Job Description
- Provide care to Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) patients.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other personnel.
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Use Cerner EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- PALS certification

- Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed).
- No options for 48-hour shifts or blocked scheduling.
