Job Opportunity: Step Down Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Shift Details

Night shift
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 to 7:00)
Weekends required

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
First-time travel nurses are eligible (no prior travel experience required)

Required Certifications and Licenses

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)
Other certifications may be required as applicable (e.g., PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, CPI, MAB)

Required Documentation and Compliance

Valid Driver’s License or State ID
E-Verify compliance (attestation required for subcontractors)
7-year background check within 1 year of start date, updated annually
Education verification (highest level must be verified)
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Hepatitis B: positive titer, series, or declination accepted
- Varicella: positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
TB questionnaire for positive TB results, renewed annually
Clear headshot photo for badge

Additional Requirements

Unit-specific skills checklist completed annually
Work history verification for the past 7 years
Employment application/resume required

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
Minimum 1 year of stepdown nursing experience, with stepdown experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
