Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Location: La Porte, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a fast-paced Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with 30 beds
Patient ratio: 4 or 5 patients per nurse
Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
No on-call requirements
Floating required: may need to float to Med/Surg units
Block scheduling is not an option
Scrub color: Navy blue

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 1 year of Intermediate Care experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Orientation dates depend on years of experience
Holidays may be blacked out depending on need; no paid time off allowed during contract
Weekly hours approximately 36 hours per week
