Registered Nurse - Oncology (Travel)

Location

Santa Fe, New Mexico

Full-time, 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts

Job Summary

Provide routine and complex nursing care independently in an oncology setting.
Manage clinical situations by making appropriate assignments and delegating tasks.
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience within the last year
Chemotherapy certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

No weekend or on-call requirements.
