Radiotherapy Technologist (Radiation Oncology) – Contract

Location: Greenbrae, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday through Friday, 5 x 8-hour day shifts (start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

Seeking experienced Radiotherapy Technologists to support the Radiation Oncology department. The role involves patient setup and alignment using imaging techniques, treatment preparation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques for radiation therapy.
• Assess patient status during direct interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members.
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart and film checks, room setup, calculations, electronic medical record verification (MOSAIQ), and treatment calendar programming.
• Perform patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed.
• Collaborate closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology.
• Valid ARRT certification.
• California Radiation Therapist (RTT) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.

Additional Information

• Up to 36 hours of on-call availability may be required during the assignment at no additional cost.
• Candidates must be able to start within 2 weeks of the requested start date; late start submissions will not be considered.
