**Job Description:**

- Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
- Contract Length: 10 weeks
- Years of Experience: 2 years preferred
- Travel Experience: Required
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Number of Beds: 10
- Daily Census: 8
- Number of Visits Per Day: 8

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize advanced skills in IV therapy, including:
 - Accessing and managing ports
 - Arterial line management
 - Blood product administration
 - Central and PICC line care/management
- Provide respiratory support:
 - Assist with chest tube insertion/removal
 - Manage and maintain BiPAP/CPAP
 - Care for ventilated patients
 - Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Administer medications:
 - Continuous IV sedation 
 - Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
 - Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Manage complex neurological, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular cases:
 - CVA/acute stroke management
 - Pre/post cardiac cath/intervention
 - Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring

**Qualifications:**

- Certifications:
 - BLS
 - ACLS
 - NIHSS (preferred)
 - TNCC (preferred)
- Skills:
 - Infection prevention
 - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
 - Phlebotomy
 - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
