Job Opportunity: Stepdown Registered Nurse (Night Shift) - Tulsa, Oklahoma
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 18:30 - 7:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Unit: Stepdown (Intermediate Care)
- Weekend Work: Required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends
- 7-year work history verification required
- Complete employment application/resume required
- No prior travel experience required (first-time travel nurses accepted)
Certifications & Training (As Applicable)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CHEMO certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Notes
- Fingerprinting required only for New Mexico placements (not applicable here)
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- Vaccine records must be clear and cannot state “per history” or similar phrases
- Documentation must be current and verifiable for all health and background requirements
This position offers a night shift travel nursing opportunity in a stepdown unit requiring a minimum of 1 year RN experience, with all standard healthcare licensure, certifications, and health screenings up to date. Weekend availability is mandatory.
