Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (Contract)
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 36 hours per week

Job Summary
Support the cardiovascular services team by assisting physicians and clinical staff during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Maintain sterile technique and comply with infection prevention standards
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the clinical team
- Document procedural information accurately and completely
- Assist with patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure care as needed
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain equipment and report operational concerns promptly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with cardiac catheterization experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing procedural schedules
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
