Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (Contract)

Location: Chico, California
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Days (6:30 AM start), 8-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care within inpatient interventional radiology.
May float to other radiology nursing areas as needed.
Responsibilities include procedural sedation and patient recovery.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Previous experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery
Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system

Additional Information

Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency.
May be required to float to Med/Surg and Critical Care units as needed.
