Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

Schedule
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Guaranteed hours with possible call-off once per two-week pay period
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager's discretion
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
System and Facility Requirements
- Charting system: Epic
- Free parking available
- Scrub color for RNs: Navy blue (not applicable for OT but noted for facility culture)
Additional Notes
- Local radius for candidates is 50 miles; local candidates accepted
- References and work history must align with booked specialty
- Background checks include SSN trace, death master index, sex offender registry, education verification, and other state-specific searches as applicable
- Candidates must comply with float policy, which may require floating to other nearby facilities
- Candidates must complete Epic training modules as assigned (if applicable)
- Various certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy, EFM, IV certification, and others may be required based on clinical track but are not mandatory for this OT role unless specified by clinical track
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency may be required as applicable
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
