Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab)
- Shift: Day shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Schedule includes overnight, weekend, and holiday call requirements
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus but not required
- 1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience required
- First-time travel nurses are welcome
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Current, valid RN license for Oklahoma
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Completion of unit-specific skills checklist annually
- Work history verification for the past 7 years
- Completion of employment application/resume submission
- Color blindness test (online version acceptable)
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam with minimum passing score of 80% (or meet/exceed Angoff score)
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance documentation
- Background checks including EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG upon hire
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
- Candidates must be prepared for call shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays
- EP experience is beneficial but not mandatory
This position offers an opportunity to work in a Cath Lab environment with a supportive team and a structured schedule. Candidates must meet all licensure, certification, and health requirements prior to start.
