Job Opportunity: Break RN (Night Shift)

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Summary

Provide safe and effective nursing care independently across various hospital nursing departments including Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing.
Provide break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs in these departments.
May be assigned to any department where trained and competent.
Care for patients of all ages (0-120 years).
Maintain required proof of competency to ensure expected level of patient care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of float experience within the last year
Emergency Department (ED) experience
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, and PALS
BLS must be issued by the American Heart Association
