**Join Our Dynamic Vascular Access Team as a Travel RN!** **Job Description:** - **Assignment Duration**: 13-16 weeks - **Start Date**: 6/29 or later - **Incentive Rate**: Competitive rates based on distance traveled - Travel Rate: $100 (for assignments starting 6/29) - Radius: $95 (51-100 miles) - Local: $90 (50 miles or less) - Distance measured by straight line, not driving distance. **Position Highlights:** - **Role**: Vascular Access Team RN - **Shift**: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) - Primarily days, but flexibility to rotate to nights as needed. - Every other weekend required. - Typically one week of nights followed by days, with possible mid-week rotations. - **Expectations**: - Must be flexible to fill critical vacancies. **Candidate Requirements**: - **Certifications**: - BLS required. - **Experience**: - Minimum of 2 years in specialty. - Prior travel experience preferred. - IV ultrasound guidance experience & strong IV skills. - AVA certified and PICC skills are a plus. - Must have large trauma level 1 experience in the last year. - **Technical Skills**: - Epic experience from the past 2 years is required. - Able to assess and change dressing for PICC lines and administer TPA as needed. - Required to float to place PIV, troubleshoot PIV and PICC lines, ports, dressing changes, and draw blood as backup. - Ability to place and remove peripheral IVs, troubleshoot lines, and complete dressing changes. **Additional Information**: - **Work Schedule**: Monday to Sunday, no block schedules. - **Orientation**: Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays. - **Transportation**: Reliable transportation is essential; personal or rental vehicle recommended. - **Vehicle Requirements**: All-season or snow tires may be required from November – April. - **Employment History**: Please ensure all gaps over 90 days are explained.
