Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Polson, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital
Total Beds: 22

Job Description

Position floats between units based on needs.
On-call required once per pay period (max PRN).
Weekend work required every other weekend typically.
Patient ratios vary: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:6.
Specialty focus: Labor and Delivery Recovery (LDRP).
Must be knowledgeable in Labor & Delivery, triage, and Postpartum care.
Recent experience of 3+ years required; seasoned travelers only.
48-hour shifts are not approved.
Charting system: Epic.
Scrub color: Any (OR provided).
Parking: No fee.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana.
Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
At least 3 years of total travel nursing experience.
Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) and Postpartum care.
Current PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
