Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Med-Surg (Night Shift)

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work primarily on the Respiratory unit caring for patients, including those with COVID-19.
Occasional floating to various Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
Every other weekend required.
No call requirement.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Stepdown nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Proficiency with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

Facility may reduce up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; these hours are not limited to 12-hour shifts.
Start date is fixed (July 20th) unless the RN is a returning traveler within the last 9 months.
All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the contract confirmation to be honored.
Compliance with contract terms (start/end dates, requested time off) is strictly enforced.

Schedule

36 hours per week, night shift (7 PM – 7:30 AM)
Every other weekend required
No call required
