Registered Nurse (PCU) - Contract in Colorado

Job Overview

Provide nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit.
Serve as the primary nurse in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting.
Day shift position.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Location

Aspen, Colorado.
Work environment includes high elevation (~8,000 feet); must be healthy enough to safely function in low oxygen conditions.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 3 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience.
PCU experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Additional Information

Not accepting any Return to Office (RTO) candidates.
Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
Housing costs are high, especially in winter; typical rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in nearby towns (Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs) is around $3,500/month.
Candidates with a housing budget below this amount are discouraged from applying.
