Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
Location: La Porte, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a fast-paced Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with 30 beds.
- Night shift hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM.
- Patient ratio: 4 or 5 patients per nurse.
- No on-call requirements.
- Floating required: may need to float to Medical/Surgical units.
- Block scheduling is not an option.
- Scrub color: Navy blue.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner experience preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Minimum 1 year of Intermediate Care experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Two-week cancellation notice with no penalty.
- Holidays may be blacked out depending on need.
- Maximum amount of required time off (RTO) is zero.
- Orientation dates depend on years of experience.
- Work schedule is approximately 36 hours per week.
