Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Emergency Department (ED) for patients of all ages.
- Handle a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
- Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions.
- Prioritize injuries and medical needs effectively.
Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as needed
- No on-call or float requirements
- Scrub color: Navy
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED)
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Telemetry certification
- PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in emergency medicine.
