Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN - Montana

Sidney, Montana

Job Description

Provide professional oncology nursing care in an outpatient chemotherapy infusion setting.
Work as part of the cancer care team in the infusion area.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient health history
- Administering chemotherapy and managing cancer symptoms
- Monitoring patients’ physical and emotional well-being through frequent visits
- Educating patients and families
- Acting as primary communication conduit between patients and physicians
- Performing triage and direct nursing care
- Following cancer care policies, nursing procedures, safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana
Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is required for this position.
