Registered Nurse - Cardiac Rehab

Location: Marion, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in the Stress Lab and Cardiac Rehab unit.
Stress Lab located on the first floor; Cardiac Rehab is across the street.
Patient ratios: 1:4 in rehab, one-on-one with stress patients.
Equipment includes Case System for stress testing, Nusteps, and treadmills for rehab patients.
Documentation system: Cerner/Scottcare.
Schedule:
- Stress testing: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Cardiac rehab: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM (after stress testing)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation experience, including experience within the last year.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience with stress testing of all kinds, including Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress, and nuclear stress testing.
Advanced knowledge of EKG interpretation related to stress testing.

Unit Details

Scrub color: Navy (required uniform).
Unit staffing includes secretaries and tech availability.
Floating policy applies (details not specified).
