**Exciting Opportunity for Hospice RN** Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse ready to make a profound impact in the lives of patients and families during critical times? Join our team as a Hospice RN and contribute to a mission that truly matters! **Job Description:** - **Schedule:** Weekday and weekend shifts available, 10-hour days as required - **Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional hospice care with a focus on complex symptom management and education - Engage in goals of care discussions with patients, families, and team members - Perform thorough symptom assessment and management with strong critical thinking skills - Administer medications via various routes (IV, Subcutaneous, oral, etc.) - Assist in patient planning and care coordination - **Qualifications:** - AHA BLS certification required - Minimum of 3 years of community hospice experience - Excellent typing skills for narrative-heavy Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Proficiency in EPIC within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) - Strong communication skills for education and care discussions - **Work Environment:** - Join a dedicated team with a hospice census of approximately 100 patients - Flexibility to work between home hospice and inpatient settings - Robust support from nursing staff, including CNAs/PCTs and advanced practice clinicians - **Patient Population:** - Provide compassionate care to terminally ill patients (6 months or less) - Focus on adults, with occasional pediatric care in home settings - **Equipment:** - Utilize a range of equipment, including CADD pumps, BiPAP, IV pumps, and portable monitors - Comprehensive training provided on unit-specific procedures and protocols **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
