Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit & Work Environment
- Unit: Operating Room with 30 OR beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Team includes OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, Anesthesia Techs
- Equipment: Various OR equipment used
- Documentation System: Epic
- Shift: Night Shift, Block Schedule, No Call, No Weekends
- Floating Policy: No float
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs, home laundered
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with Level I or Level II Trauma patients
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Procedures & Responsibilities
- Perform circulating nurse duties across all surgical service lines
- Manage incoming trauma cases in the OR
