Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Travel Position
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Coronary Care Unit (CCU) / ICU
- Number of Beds: 26
- Staff per Shift:
- Day Shift: 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech
- Night Shift: 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech
- Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients
- Equipment Used: Balloon pumps, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Hypothermia equipment
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of Coronary Care Unit (CCU) experience, with at least 1 year within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Prior travel experience in large facility ICU units (preferred but not required)

- Heart catheterizations
- Use of balloon pumps
- CRRT management
- Hypothermia protocol
- Cardioversion
- Central line care
- Medication drips
