Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Telemetry (CC4 Telemetry / 618), including 2 Tele floors and a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floor
- Number of Beds: 345
- Staff: Float pool of about 80 staff members
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 during day shifts; varies by unit and shift
- EMR System: Meditech / CPN
- Typical patient population: Large cardiac population with varied acute and chronic medical issues
- Floating: Required to float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience within the last year
- Acute Care experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Telemetry experience
- Chemo Certification (preferred for scheduling on Oncology unit)

Typical Procedures & Responsibilities
- Care for patients on Telemetry and PCU floors
- Perform a variety of procedures related to cardiac and medical care
- Support multiple inpatient units as needed through floating
Shift Information
- Day shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
Additional Notes
- Unit policies and guidelines vary slightly between units
- Candidates without the minimum required skills and experience will not be considered
