Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Job Description

Work in the Perinatal Center (3rd floor, main building)
Typical patient load: 10-12 patients per tech per day
Equipment used: E8 and E10 ultrasound machines
Electronic Medical Record system: Viewpoint
Day shift only (no night shifts)
Team includes 2-3 sonographers, 2 RNs, genetic counselor, registrars, director, and clinical manager

Typical Procedures

First Trimester scans
Biophysical Profile (BPP)
Doppler studies
Detailed Fetal Anatomy scans
Complete OB ultrasounds
Nuchal Translucency (NT) measurements

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an OB/GYN Sonographer, including experience within the last year
Certification as ARRT (S) and/or ARDMS
OB/GYN specialty certification
BLS certification
Experience as an Ultrasound Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

Fetal Echo experience
NTQR certification
