Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Position

Location: Winchester, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Facility Overview

Acute and skilled care facility with 131 acute beds and 26 skilled nursing home beds
Accredited by the Joint Commission
Features a 10-bed ICU, 12-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, 12-bed Acute Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit, Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR Suites, two Endoscopy Suites
Emergency Room with 13 bays and over 15,000 annual visits
Sister facility nearby with additional acute and skilled care beds and a 4-bay Emergency Room
Radiology services include MRI, CT, PET/CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and X-ray

Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
Number of Openings: 1
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 24
Call Requirements: None
Patient Population: All ages
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; no other facility-branded attire or casual wear allowed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
ABG Endorsement
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Experience with MEDITECH EHR system

Additional Information

Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
Professional demeanor required
