MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Primarily day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), dependent on department needs
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Approximate number of beds: 185
Staff: 2 PRN and 1 tech cross-trained
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment: GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI
EMR systems: Epic, McKesson PACS
Typical procedures: MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, defecography, anesthesia, pacemakers
Dress code: Scrubs in grey or pewter

Required Qualifications

ARRT (MR) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Self-starter, self-motivated, patient-centered with strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality imaging

Additional Notes

No floating assignments
Night shifts currently have no coverage; primarily recruiting for day shifts
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role
