Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry
Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit (Med Surg Tele) in a Level III Trauma Center.
- Serve a patient population of all ages.
- Float to similar med/surg units as needed.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend hours: Every other weekend / as needed
- Call requirements: As needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Skills & Experience
- Experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing.
- IV insertion skills required.
- Professional demeanor expected.
Work Environment & Tools
- Unit uses Meditech electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Medication dispensing via Omnicell system.
- Scrub color: Any (casual wear not allowed).
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
