Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Warsaw, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, every 3rd weekend (no on-call)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide critical care nursing in a 14-bed ICU unit within a 72-bed facility.
• Care for ventilator-dependent patients, manage IV drips and sedation, and occasionally assist with after-hours recoveries.
• Patient ratios vary from 2:1 or 3:1 depending on patient acuity; 1:5 ratio when floating to MS Telemetry/Progressive Care overflow.
• Floating to MS Telemetry unit may be required; ratio there is 6:1.
• EMR system used: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid driver's license

Additional Information

• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted.
• Block scheduling is not an option.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Must submit required licenses, certifications, and driver's license with application; permanent home address on ID must match submission.

Patient Care Environment

• Critical Care and Progressive Care units.
• Monthly department volume approximately 175 patients.
