**Exciting Opportunity for Hospice RN** **Job Description:** - **Position Type:** Hospice RN - **Schedule:** - Monday night 5 PM through the following Monday morning 8 AM - 7 consecutive nights on, followed by 7 nights off - **Flexibility:** - You are free to rest during the night but must remain reachable for patient needs. - **Patient Care:** - Average of 40-50 hours of meaningful patient care per week. - **Responsibilities:** - Conduct visits as assigned and manage overflow from day shift. - Participate in PRN visits as determined by the triage nurse. - Engage in goals of care discussions and planning with patients and families. - Administer medications via various routes (IV, Subcutaneous, oral, etc.). - Perform complex symptom management and education. - **Requirements:** - AHA BLS Certification - Minimum of 3 years of prior community hospice experience - Excellent typing skills for narrative-heavy EMR documentation - High level of critical thinking for symptom assessment and management - **Additional Information:** - Bi-weekly orientations every Monday - No block scheduling - All work history information must be complete for submission - Gaps in employment over 30 days must be explained - Covid and Flu declinations accepted with proof required - Reliable transportation is a must; personal vehicles or rentals recommended, especially during winter months **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
