Physical Therapist Assistant - Contract Position
Location: Cordova, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM lunch)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Position available in a scenic Alaskan town accessible only by air or water.
- Work within a Rehabilitation Department that includes Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) staff.
- Opportunity to engage in outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, and canoeing.
- Housing is provided within walking distance of the hospital; no pets or visitors allowed in provided housing.
- Access to a facility vehicle and recreational equipment (e.g., fishing poles) available on a checkout basis.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Alaska.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the last year.
