Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health (Travel)

Location: Highland Hills, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Assessment Specialist RN
Specialty: Intake in Behavioral Health
Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Yes
Call Requirements: None
Unit Profile:
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Patient Population: Adults ages 18-99
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Detox, depression, psychosis

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Behavioral Health nursing experience of at least 2 years
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
BLS certification
Handle With Care (HWC) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Environment & Expectations

Orientation held weekly on Mondays
Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
Float requirements: Not specified
Personality Fit: Compassionate about mental health, able to remain unbothered by patient comments, proactive during downtime
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs or business casual; hoodies are not allowed
