Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery (Travel)
Location: Denton, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Number of Beds: 13
- Number of Staff: 62
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 32 staff (including 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Board Runner)
- Night Shift: 2 staff (1 RN, 1 CST)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Floor: 1st - Operating Room
- Building: Main Hospital
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
- On-Call Requirement: 2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month
- Floating Requirement: None
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Proficient in Circulate Hearts
Skills & Procedures
- Must have skill: Circulate Hearts – Hard Stop
- Preferred skill: Circulate Hearts
- Typical procedures performed: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)

- Hours per week: 36
