**Exciting Opportunity for ICU RNs: Join Our Dynamic Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position Overview:** - Join our passionate ICU team providing exceptional care in a state-of-the-art facility. - Work within a collaborative environment where patient care comes first. - **Schedule:** - Full-time shifts available: Monday to Sunday. - No block schedules; flexibility in scheduling is essential. - Minimum requirement: Every other weekend. - **Requirements:** - Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required. - NIHSS certification required prior to start. - Preferred: CCRN and AHA PALS certifications. - Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including 3 years in specialized ICU care. - Recent EPIC experience within the last 2 years is nonnegotiable. - **Unit Information:** - 14-bed ICU unit with a nurse-patient ratio of 2:1 or 3:1. - Experienced ancillary staff available (CNA, PCT, and unit clerks). - Advanced practice providers, including a pulmonologist, on-site during the day. - **Patient Population:** - Diverse cases including Sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, and more. - Focus on adult patients (ages 18+). - **Key Equipment:** - Utilize advanced technology such as Baxter IV pumps, Mindray bedside monitors, and Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps. - Respiratory support available 24/7. - **Floating Requirements:** - May be required to float to med-surg unit or care for ICU level boarders in the ER as needed. - **Facility Overview:** - Part of the UVMMC Health network with a robust support system. - Average daily census of 8-10 patients, offering an engaging and challenging environment. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
