EEG Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, including technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams. Assist cardiologists during exams and coordinate with hospital departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate documentation.
Work Schedule
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Echo Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- ARDMS or CCI certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a two-year allied health education program related to patient care
- EEG Technician experience

- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work efficiently under stress and at a rapid pace
- Manual dexterity required to perform echocardiograms
Responsibilities
- Perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams accurately
- Coordinate exam scheduling, patient transport, and billing information
- Assist cardiologists by preparing measurements and exchanging diagnostic information
- Manage dictations and timely delivery of reports
- Respond to patient needs and report any changes in condition to appropriate staff
- Maintain exam rooms, order supplies, and ensure cleanliness
- Log patient exams and maintain records
- Participate in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement activities
- Maintain quality control of equipment and coordinate repairs
- Stay current with advances in echocardiography and seek mentorship as needed
- Assist with other cardiac procedures as required
