Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Job Summary
- Provide inpatient acute rehabilitation therapy in a 40-bed adult/geriatric rehab hospital.
- Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
- Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with 1-2 weekend shifts per month.
- No call or float requirements.
- Patient ratio approximately 6:1.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
Work Environment & Additional Details
- Shift: Day shift, approximately 32 hours per week.
- Patient population primarily adult and geriatric.
- Common diagnoses treated include stroke, neurological conditions, cardiac issues, debility, and orthopedic injuries.
- Personality fit: flexible and dependable.
- Scrub color: Navy blue.
- Report time: 7:45 AM.
- Employee parking available.
