Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General

Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology ultrasound
Prior Travel Experience
- First-time travelers are accepted (no prior travel experience required)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina
- Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification
- Experience working with high-risk patients
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or experience in Nuchal Translucency Screening (ARDMS FE, NT)
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours per week)
- 45-minute meal break
- No call or weekend requirements
- Float requirement applies
Job Details
- Work setting includes OB/GYN patients with level 1 OB and GYN scans
- Must be prepared to work as part of a Storm Team or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events or disasters
- Scheduling is based on clinic needs
- Scrubs are not provided; any color is acceptable
Compliance and Onboarding Requirements
- Background check within 6 months prior to start (clinical candidates)
- Drug screening within 6 months prior to start (9-panel acceptable)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; additional documentation required for past positives
- Required immunizations and titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Physical exam and references required per travel agency standards
- Completion of facility-specific education modules and compliance training
- Photo for badge (passport style, white background, business attire) required immediately after signing contract
- Must complete password setup and login to facility’s learning system (I-Learn) within 24 hours of receiving credentials
- Medication Safety training completion required prior to start
- Confidentiality agreement and hospital policies acknowledgment required
- Radiation badge required if applicable (not typical for this role)
Additional Notes
- No return-to-office (RTO) after booking allowed; call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation
- Interview with hiring manager required before offer
- Candidates may be reassigned mid-contract based on facility needs
