Job Opportunity: Cath Lab/Angio Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit and Specialty
- Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab
Work Schedule
- Day shifts with varied start times
- Shift length: 8 or 10 hours
- 40 hours per week
- Call required 1-2 days per week, including weekends and holidays
- Call team consists of 4 members
Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
- Support procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) insertion
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring
- Utilize and maintain knowledge of radiology equipment and image processing
- Understand diagnostic imaging modalities such as Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine
- Document patient care using Meditech EMR system
- Monitor patients using Sensis equipment
- Work with Siemens equipment and manage lab work (2 labs)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Must be able to arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is required for this position
- Must be prepared to take call as scheduled
