Physical Therapist (Travel) – Decatur, Texas

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Location: Decatur, Texas
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (typical schedule Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM)
Work Setting: Physical Therapy department with potential floating to Inpatient Rehab, Acute, or Outpatient Rehab areas
Clinic Hours: Outpatient clinic open Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM, with flexible hours for outpatient physical therapists

Unit Information

Staff includes 3 full-time Physical Therapists, 1 Physical Therapist Assistant, and 3 PRN Physical Therapists
Equipment available: Hoyer Lift, Treadmill, Elliptical, Sci Fit
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Meditech Magic, ReDoc/NetHealth
No night shift or on-call requirements

Typical Procedures

Physical therapy evaluation and treatment of patients

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in outpatient clinic settings
Experience working with neurological patients

Ideal Candidate Attributes

Team player who collaborates well with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and physicians
