Physical Therapist Travel Position - Anchorage, Alaska

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule:
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour day shifts
- Rotating schedule including weekends (2-3 weekends per month)
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Type: Inpatient acute care
Patient Load: 8-10 patients daily
EMR System: EPIC
Dress Code: Light green scrubs

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 175
Therapy Staff: Approximately 60 providers including PT, OT, SLP, PTA, COTA
Shift Staffing Example (Day): 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
On Call: Not required

Required Qualifications

License: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care settings
Skills: Acute care experience is mandatory

Preferred Candidate Attributes

Ability to work independently
Comfortable with weekend rotations
