Medical Technologist Travel Position - Georgia

Job Details

• Location: Statesboro, Georgia

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Work Schedule: No call required, no floating required

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist in diagnosis and monitoring of diseases.
• Follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing.
• Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.
• Work as a generalist covering Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank departments.
• Use limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Must have completed at least 2 prior travel assignments successfully.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Certification required: ASCP or AMT.

Additional Information

• No 48-hour weekly guarantees.
• No blackout dates or required holidays, but one major and one minor holiday may be possible.
• No maximum return to office restrictions as long as full-time equivalent and weekend requirements are met.
