Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

Location: Holyoke, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Specialty: Behavioral Health
Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM (No block schedule)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Yes
Patient Population: Geriatric, pediatric (ages 5-17), and adult patients
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:8 (lower ratios for geriatric and pediatric units)
Units: 5 units total; 2 adult units (24 beds each), 1 geriatric unit (24 beds), 1 pediatric unit (12 beds)
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Cerner
Supervisor: Shift supervisors only
Dress Code: Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
