Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Travel)
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Travel RN position specializing in OB/GYN with a focus on Labor and Delivery.
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend hours as needed
- No call requirements
- Possible float assignments as helping hands
Unit & Patient Population
- Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
- Floor: 3
- Number of beds: 8
- Patient population includes gynecological patients as well as laboring mothers
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience, including experience within the last year
- OB/GYN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

- Dress code: No designated scrub color; navy scrubs provided for C-sections
- Personality fit: Easy going, committed, and positive
- No trauma level specified for this unit
- No call requirements
