Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (5 shifts of 8 hours), with rotating call coverage
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the operating room as a circulating and/or scrub nurse.
- Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
- Supervise assigned team members.
- Ensure nursing care complies with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, Nursing Department, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain the work area and participate in 24-hour call coverage.
- Use nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- CVOR experience (2 years).
- CVOR experience within the last year.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- PALS issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- OR Circulate experience.
