Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Position
Location: Kennewick, Washington
Job Details
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend (EOW)
- Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
- Number of Openings: 1
Unit & Patient Population
- The NICU unit also supports coverage in Obstetrics (OB) due to staffing shortages; cross-training in both NICU and OB is required.
- Patient population includes neonates and potentially OB patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of recent (within the last year) experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- WATCH certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate.
- The position requires flexibility to cover both NICU and OB units due to staffing needs.
- Dress code and attire specifics are managed by the facility (not detailed here).
