Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position

Location: Greenwood, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 44-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness.
Provide customized, intense rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Support comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs aimed at maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life.
Accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs.

Unit Information

Unit Type: Rehabilitation
Number of Beds: 59
Patient Ratios: 6:1 or 7:1
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Weekend Hours: Every third weekend
Call Requirements: None
Weekly Hours: Approximately 36 hours

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Med Surg nursing experience

Patient Population & Common Diagnoses

Patient population includes adults recovering from:
- Amputation
- Stroke
- Brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Cardiac conditions
- Debility

Additional Information

No required certifications beyond RN license
No float or call requirements
First day instructions include reporting at 6:30 AM, wearing navy scrubs, and checking in with the House Supervisor
Designated parking available on site
